XV Festival Internacional de Cine Documental
Fast-paced music marks the rhythm of this “B-road-movie” set in Andalusia that shows a gallery of misfits as a social portrayal of a class and a time on the verge of extinction. It tells the story of the friendship between two men, Miguel Ángel Iglesias and Javier García-Pelayo, interpreting their own unscripted biography. Two rebels on the run in stolen cars and in pursuit of a love of overwhelming intensity.
Gonzalo García-Pelayo (Madrid, 1947) is one of the fundamental cult authors of Spanish cinema. Responsible for dozens of films from 1968 to the present day, including titles such as Manuela (1975) and Vivir en Sevilla (1978), all his work is characterized by its vitalism, transgression and insubordination.
