XV Festival Internacional de Cine Documental
Patrick Deval, the most literary filmmaker in the Zanzibar universe, borrows the title of this film from the magazine and secret society founded in the 1930s by Georges Bataille. In the film, a young man and his friends wander around a hardly recognizable Paris following May '68. There is an intensely hallucinatory, powerfully hypnotic anthropological work somewhere, one that evades all analysis and ventures well beyond any rational modes of thought.
Featuring the attendance of Jackie Raynal.
Session including the screening of Patrick Deval's films Héraclite l'obscur (21') and Acéphale (60'). Total duration: 81´.
