Joseph Morder (Trinidad and Tobajo, 1949) lived in Guayaquil (Ecuador) from 1952 to 1962 and has lived in Paris since 1962. Making films since 1967, the actor, screenwriter, film journalist, film professor, Joseph Morder is a member of the Morlock Academy. He has made over 1,200 films, including a film diary started in 1967. He has worked in a wide variety of film genres (fiction, documentary, Morlock Archives) and formats (8mm, Super8, 16mm, 35mm, video, cell phone, virtual cinema). As an artist interested in all forms of narrative, he has always been curious about new cinematic adventures. His works deal with memory, the Shoah, melodrama, musical comedy and first-person cinema. His films have been screened at film festivals, in retrospectives and been screened in theaters around the world.
