Synopsis
Kate is a 16-year-old Belarusian model who travels to Tokyo in search of professional success. We follow her on her wanderings through a foreign country (with no contacts or support): from the hotel to the casting call waiting rooms, from the car to the supermarket, in what ends up being a cold, anonymous and absurd path to nothing. Biography of the director
Sofia Farré
She is currently studying film at the ESCAC (Higher School of Film and Audiovisual Media of Catalonia). Prior to studying film and starting her career as a director, she worked as a teenage model, which was the most important factor behind her decision to make the documentary New Face, her debut film as a director.
