The legendary French soldier Chauvin, who gave his name to the even more famous chauvinism, gets a lifetime achievement award. At that reception, his heroic and patriotic feats are recounted. His first feature film Fort Buchanan premiered at Locarno before screening at numerous international film festivals and enjoying commercial runs in Paris and New York. He lives and works in Paris
