Synopsis

Devastated by the economic crisis, the center Athens becomes the tragic setting of characters who share their reflection at home, at the bar or simply walking through the streets. Characters who, despite the hardship, find mutual support to be a place to resist from and to carry out their own particular revolution. (JY)

Miguel Ángel Jiménez

After a summer of cinema in Valladolid, he dropped out of Law to study Camerawork and Photography. He got help from Aki Kaurismäki to shoot his first short film in 2001. After a few years working in television in Bilbao, he founded Kinoskopik in 2007 with Gorka Gómez and three other guys. He has shot, among other things, three feature films and two documentaries. He is now surviving and shoots from time to time. Sumendia, a feature in preproduction, will be his last opportunity.
