Synopsis

A daughter wonders why her father, a Guinean man studying in Barcelona when the civil war began and died when she was young, worked at night. For him, silence and darkness meant going back to a place he did not want to return to. Over the course of the narrative, we learn the terrible event that caused her father to suffer insomnia for the rest of his days. (LGV)
