Synopsis

Through oral history and photography, the cruelty of the American colonial process in the Amazon is represented in overlapping archive footage, folklore and myth. Susana de Sousa Dias opens up a tunnel through time to the city Henry Ford founded in 1928 to break the British hegemony in rubber production and which now is a space frozen in the wounded time of colonial utopia.
