An immersive film plunging us somewhere between reality and a certain expressionist estrangement in its disheveled portrait of a family. Moriviví reflects a social reality for some rural areas of Cuba, in which poverty, fear, violence, possession and even santería and superstitions take center stage in a day-to-day life that is lived on the edge.
