A glimpse at a futuristic, hushed, blinking Cuba. A story broken off from the Acéfala Trilogy by José Luis Serrano, in which the explorer Amundsen’s dogs cross paths with a poet inspector investigating industrial accidents and HP Lovecraft. Twenty-first century Cuban filmmaking combining Soviet, European and American heritage while the island tries out possible present-day scenarios. (GGP)
