Ekhiñe Etxeberria
She was born in Huarte, a small town in Navarra, Spain on November 16, 1991. Following in her aunt and uncle's footsteps as filmmakers, she decided to study film.
Upon completing her A-levels in Art, she furthered her studies at the ESCIVI (School of Film and Video of Andoain, Gipuzcoa), where she got an higher degree in Directing Audiovisual Projects and Shows. She finished her studies with an internship at a production company called Alternative Studio in Krakow (Poland) thanks to the Erasmus + program.
To continue her training, she decided to move to Catalonia to study a Degree in Film and Audiovisual Media at the ESCAC (Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Catalonia), where she graduated with a specialization in Documentary Filmmaking. Mikele is her final student film.
