CALL FOR PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE 2018 DOCUMENTAMADRID FESTIVAL

In celebration of the city of Madrid's 15 years hosting the best in documentary filmmaking, we invite you to collaborate with the festival.

The Lens School of Visual Arts and DOCUMENTAMADRID are opening up this photo contest to collect a variety of views of the city of Madrid that might go in to making up the festival image.

Its objective will be to choose series of photographs by the same photographer to be used in the XV edition of the International Documentary Film Festival.

This series of photographs should offer the possibility of being joined together into a single image from out of the multiple angles and framed shots that are provided.

The aim is for the poster for the 2018 DocumentaMadrid to represent the vitality and multi-faceted nature of a city whose diverse backgrounds and ways of life are fluidly interrelated through participatory methods.

A vision of the city of Madrid told through a series of images (between 5 and 10), the object of which is to relate the concepts of PEOPLE - CITY - NATURE.

You can upload your photo sequence to Instagram with hashtag #DocumentaTuMadrid and add @documentamadrid & @lensescuela. Dead line: December 20th!
