Adán Aliaga
His first film as a director, My Grandmother's House, made its debut in 2005, obtaining the Joris Ivens Prize for Best Documentary Film at IDFA, plus many other awards. Since then he has filmed five more full-length films, winning a series of prizes both in Spain and abroad, including the Pilar Miró Prize for Best Debut Work at the Valladolid Film Festival, the Caracola de Oro for Best Film at Alcances, Best Film at the PNR Festival in Madrid and Special Jury Mention at the Malaga Festival.
Álex Lora
His first full-length documentary, Thy Father's Chair, debuted at IDFA in 2015, winning several awards. His short films have also won more than a hundred awards and mentions, including an NY-Emmy, a Mention as Finalist at the Oscars Student Academy Awards and a Gaudí Prize from the Catalan Film Academy, plus a double selection at the renowned Sundance Film Festival. Àlex has also taken part in the Berlinale Talent Campus and has participated in the Cannes Short Film Corner on three occasions.
