Limbo

In an isolated region of the country a family transforms daily acts into rituals .The focus of its circular existence is the father, around whom the limbo of the nation takes shape.

Director's Biography

He graduated with a degree in Audiovisual Communications from the University of the Arts (ISA) in Cuba and is currently in the second year of the specialised Documentary programme at the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños.

His work has been screened at events in France, Colombia and the USA. He directed the fake documentaries
Filmar Pedro Páramo (2007), Tractatus (2008) and Diario de la niebla (2017), as well as the documentary short film Limbo (2016), the experimental short film Traces of the Inscribed (2017) and the short fiction film Alona (2017).

He is currently in the post-production stage of his first feature fiction film,
Year of Meteors (2017). He has also published the fiction book Umbralismo: una Antología (2014) as well as Purple Traffic (2015), a translation of Emily Dickinson’s poetry.
