Every summer I go to the town of my childhood, Sitges, to work as a living statue. There, along the promenade, dressed as Mary Poppins, I watch my family pass by. These are the patron saint celebrations. It’s been years since I’ve spoken to them.
Barcelona, 1988. She graduated from the University of Granada with a degree in Philosophy and from the Cinematography and Audiovisual School of Madrid (ECAM) with a specialised diploma in Editing. She directs Sala 1, a digital film magazine that she founded in 2012, and has collaborated on several film publications, including Caimán Cuadernos de Cine (Spain) and El Gran Vidrio (Mexico). She works as a webmaster at Filmadrid (Madrid International Film Festival).
She co-edited Dentro (Facundo Tosso, 2016) with Alejandro Lázaro and has worked as an assistant editor in the production company Morena Films, on films such as Altamira (2016) and The Olive Tree (2016). In addition, in the past year she has worked as an additional editor on Chillida: Deep is the Air by Seville-born director Juan Barrero, which recently debuted at the San Sebastián Film Festival, as an assistant editor in the production company Tornasol Films on Hostile Zone (2017), as co-editor alongside Alejandro Lázaro on Milagros (2016), and as an editing assistant to Juan Barrero on 100 Days of Solitude (2017), produced by Wanda Films.
She is currently working as editor on Vida férrea, a feature-length documentary by Manuel Bauer, and as editing assistant to Alejandro Lázaro on Cuando dejes de quererme by Igor Lagarreta.
