“In Afghanistan, I saw a couple making love on a roof”: we know very little of the day-to-day work of the pilots carrying out “targeted assassinations” with military drones. Three Americans agreed to testify in voiceover about their experience, which is paradoxically one of intimacy and cruelty, over aerial images
that they could have filmed themselves, to “Find, Fix, Finish”.

Director's Biography

Sylvain Cruiziat was born in 1995 (London). He grew up in Paris, Hong Kong and London where he graduated at the German School London in 2014 before enrolling into the Documentary and Television Directing Department at the University of Television and Film Munich. During and before his academic studies, Sylvain has worked on multiple international productions including Star Wars Episode VIII.

Mila Zhluktenko, born in 1991, migrated from the Ukraine to Germany in 2004. After her high-school graduation, she studied German Literature at the Humbold University Berlin. Since 2014 she is enrolled in the documentary directing course at the University of Television and Film and is scholarship holder of the Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerks.
