Converso

Over the last few years, my whole family has converted to the Catholic faith. The distance between us is becoming greater every day, so I decided to make a film to understand how the Holy Spirit had come into their lives, into our lives. A film about love, absence, voids and distances.

Director's Biography

In 1991 he embarked on his studies at the School of Arts and Crafts in Pamplona. In 1993 he became Creative Director at ACE Comunicación and now holds the same role at Planner Comunicación, where he is responsible for management and creative writing on publicity and advertising campaigns. From 2008 to the present he has been developing a diary-style documentary project entitled Inventaryo and in 2009 he started a documentary project on the death of his grandfather, called Un sombrero y un chip, neither of which has been screened. In 2013 he presented Oírse, a documentary selected for various prizes and distinctions at film festivals. In 2017 he released a new documentary, Converso, in the author's own words: “a film about a church organ, family, harmony and the Holy Spirit”.
