Feeling lost, Keith (46) looks for the footprints of his father, deceased a few years back, by hearing the testimony of five women in three continents. Listening to their words will mark the path towards finding his own voice.

Teresa explores the limits of language and narrativity in fiction and non-fiction audiovisual works and is interested in the relationship between image, memory and identity.
Mothertongue is her first feature film. Previously she wrote and directed short films, including La letra es tuya (non fiction, selected in Uruguay Film Festival, Arteficial Festival and finalist of ACE awards) and Ojalá (fiction, 16 mm, selected for The Beaux Arts Circle Exhibition in Madrid).
Teresa Sendagorta was born in Bilbao (1967, Spain). She studied Economics at the University of Buckingham, Philosophy at the University of Deusto, and Filmmaking at University CEU and has participated in multiple seminars on documentary filmmaking and contemporary art. In 2009, Teresa established the production company Chisgarabis Kino where she presently works as producer.
