A documentary about the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and the first to use colour film. After remaining in the archives for decades the film has been rescued along with others by Russell Palmer, president of Peninsular News Service, a pro-Franco pressure group that published several magazines in the USA, such as 'Spain' and 'Cara al Sol'. Palmer had Franco’s permission to film episodes like the conquest of Teruel, the occupation of Castellón, Franco with the Italian troops, air battles, bombings over the trenches and unusual pictures of the Spanish Foreign Legion and the Moor Units.
