In the Mexican state of Baja California Sur is a town called Todos Santos, where the legend of the Hanged Girl prevails. Those who know the story tell of a 15 year old pregnant girl, named Matilde, who died mysteriously in the desert, hanging from a tree. According to the heirs of the tale, the Hanged Girl performs miracles to those who offer prayers and gifts. However, nobody knows what she takes in exchange. The mystery of her death remains.

Director's Biography

Pierre Saint-Martin
(Mexico City, 1979) Pierre Saint-Martin majored in Social Communication from UAMXochimilco. Nowadays he is at his senior year (8th semester) at CUEC (College Center of Filmaking). He has developed as a director, Cinematographer, editor and producer in several short films, videoclips, t.v series and advertising . He has been envolved in 4 important mexican feature films (THE MAGICIAN- EL MAGO, DIVIDED SKY-EL CIELO DIVIDIDO, ERENDIRA-ERENDIRA , AND UPCOMING RELEASE RAGING SUN-RAGING SKYRABIOSO SOL-RABIOSO CIELO). His short films have participated and awarded in several international and mexican film festivals, such as BILBO FEST, FIPA, EMAF, SAN SEBASTIAN, MORELIA FILM FESTIVAL, HAVANA FILM FESTIVAL among others. Nowa days he is preparing his film thesis EACH DAY , EVERY SINGLE NIGHT- CADA DIA, TODAS LAS NOCHES.
