Cecilia Bartolomé, José Juan Bartolomé
102' / 1983 / Spain
The film of the Bartolomé siblings is heir to the rebellious spirit of the activist cinema of the 1960s and has become one of the most appropriate documents to approach the transition years. Before the camera eye march all sorts of characters, from polititians and business men to simple citizens, who express their opinions regarding the changes of the previous years. The ill-timing of certain testimonies and the tense feelings it produced resulted in the film being “hijacked” by the authorities and not being premiered until November 1983.
