Metamorphosen, by Sebastian Mez.

“We award the second prize to a film that is a courageous and technical feat, masterfully taking advantage of scarce human and financial resources to offer a beautiful cinematographic account of the consequences of a nuclear catastrophe”

SPECIAL PRIZE OF THE JURY, consisting of a diploma

“We award the special jury prize to a film that explores the loss of memory, while at the same time constructing new memories through the medium and a personal process of discovery”

“We award an honourable mention to a film for its clever use of minimalist elements to subvert notions of identity and memory”

* NOTE OF THE JURY

“As a jury we are extremely grateful to the programmers for the high quality of the selected films in terms of the variety of relevant social issues presented and innovative formal aspects. This however, has also made our life impossible when the time came to select the award recipients.”
