In 2001 the clash between the State and social movements revealed the true nature of power. Political repression was the response to the numerous protests that had taken place up to that time. Three hundred thousand demonstrators came face to face with the darkest side of democracy. From images taken of these events by the most diverse of sources, a general reflection is made on democracy, power and its symbols, the role of the media and violence, while at the same time, a reflection is offered on the language of film and its possibilities.
