El Salvador, Central America. Five families walked through the jungle for days. When they got to what used to be their hometown, nothing was left standing. The former square was littered with bones. They got organized and gathered together the remains of the dead. Today, among the nightmares and wounds of a terrible civil war, life is starting to open back up. Under the ever-present image of those no longer here, the farmers sow the land and take care of their animals.
