The players in a small town football league out in the country continue to passionately follow the brief passing of their team through the sport's biggest event (Germany 2006). Gómez, a spectator of spectators, lets the contrast between his images and those shown on the little television on top of a wardrobe speak for themselves. And while the country folk play cards, prepare meals and of course, play football, we are given a chance to see what it is that a small town's identity and passions are made of.
